Guided Tour searching for French Property Deals
You will be guided by an Australian couple who have purchased several properties in France and have learnt many valuable lessons, travelled extensively and are prepared to share their experience with you. They purchased one of their properties for less than AUD$100,000 and these opportunities can still be found.
Tour 21-25 June 2010

This guided tour visits southwest France, in a region located half way between Loire and Bordeaux, inland 1-2 hours from the Atlantic Coast. In early summer the region has beautiful warm weather, and we'll be there before the French crowds arrive.

An Opportunity to Learn from Other Investors
One of the benefits of travelling with this group is that you will be able to leverage off the knowledge of our Australian guides, who have bought and rented investment properties in France. They will help keep you on track with what they consider good value and help you control your emotions, as you most certainly will fall in love with the historic villages, the picturesque countryside, and the rustic charm of the apartments and houses.
Tour highlights include:
- 5 day tour of hand-picked areas in southwest region of France.
- A tour of properties that the Australian couple have purchased in beautiful and historic villages.
- Escorted viewing of properties that our guides think are worth considering, with French real estate agents they have dealt with (knowing a little French will be helpful, but not necessary as the agents speak english).
- Accommodation at historic and charming venues, including a chateau!
- Spending time with inspirational women in an inspirational setting. This will provide you with more property skills, more self confidence and more ambition!
- Experiencing the delights of local French food, wine and culture.
Of course it is entirely up to you if you wish to purchase any French property. There will be no pressure to buy and we’d encourage you to complete the tour before making any offers... just enjoy your time and absorb all the information, experience and enthusiasm from the guides and the other property women accompanying you.

A little about Investing in France
There are no restrictions on foreigners purchasing property in France. French banks will generally lend foreigners up to 80% to purchase property at lower interest rates than in Australia (currently around 4%).
While prices vary according to region and housing quality, there are properties available right now between $50,000 and $150,000 Euro (between AUD$82,000 and AUD$245,000).
There are a number of issues involved with purchasing, owning and managing property in France, and these will be discussed and your questions answered during the 5 day tour.
