    Vicki
This married mum with 2 teenagers felt like her life was going downhill when she became redundant, until she realized that she would now have time to follow her dream of being a full time property investor. She joined forces with a work colleague made redundant at the same time and has gone on to purchase 4 properties in the last 6 months…some on her own and some as a Joint Venture. She’s renovating to add value, holding some and selling others to create cashflow. Vicki says “Finally I’m enjoying going to work”.
    Lisa

By focusing on getting herself a good Property Education, she is now ready to launch into a development by knowing how to find the right joint venture partners.
    Sylvia
Although she loved the idea of property, Sylvia thought she would need a high income to be an investor.  Yet, she became inspired by a conversation with Judith Taylor from Property Women, and made the decision to come along to a Property Women Workshop which turned her life around.  She gained the knowledge and confidence to launch into property investing with a “CAN DO” attitude.  Sylvia loves to renovate and is about to purchase her fourth property.  Not bad at all for a woman thought it couldn’t be done.

  Audra
Since 2004, a QLD mum of 6 has accumulated 11 investment properties and tried her hand at renovation, strata titling and major development.  She’s just purchased a property in Adelaide.  The day after the lease expires on the less than desirable tenant, Audra will start the gutting and revamping process.  What a great way to have an interstate holiday and share time with relatives and friends.
    Sue
This mum is working her way out of work. She became an accidental sub-divider when she realized that she was living on a block large enough to divide into 3. With the profits, she’s renovated a property to onsell and is finding out about construction finance as she takes on building a house. All of this experience and knowledge is moving her closer to what she really wants to do, which is buy a houses to renovate and then subdivide the backyard. She knows that once she does the first one, she’ll be on the way to repeating the process and ditching the day job.
    Helen
Together with her husband and children, now 4 and 6, has moved house many times. She became an accidental investor when a number of years ago, when should couldn’t sell the house that she was leaving. That’s when she decided to keep it and was very happy to gain really good tenants. She thought “that was easy, so I’ll just buy another one”. That’s when she became addicted, selling a few along the way to increase cashflow but keeping the majority. This year Helen has bought and renovated another 2 properties.
  Sally
Starting out as an accidental investor Sally has managed to turn $3,000 into a property porfolio worth $1.8m and at the same time developed a passion for property!  Buying her first investment property for $42,000 and with only $300 in the bank at the time was an easy choice especially when she realised the rent would more than pay for her outgoings.
At the time Sally didn't realise just what a good thing she was on and now with a bit of education she wishes that she had bought the whole street.

  Jo
Pregnant with her first son, Jo had reached a crossroad. Fed up with a long-term corporate career that involved working long hours and making lots of money for others, she embarked on her first property deal that made her $155,000 within a year. Jo now follows her love of property. In just a few years, Jo has purchased 6 investment properties, completed more than 35 property developments…and had another baby.
    Mary
Mary is a born and bred New Zealander who calls herself a “Water Person”.  It’s not surprising that her first property was a block of land with beach views purchased for $6,500 NZD.  What is surprising is that she was 19 years old at the time.  Mary built a house on the block, and even more surprisingly, the property  is now worth over $750,000 NZD.  By the time she moved to Australia, Mary had a portfolio of 6 New Zealand properties.  She couldn’t afford waterfront in Sydney so worked out a way to buy Australian properties and still get water views.
