Property Women are offering the right person the opportunity to join their property savvy exciting team. We need a flexible executive assistant who can vary between part time and full time during the course of the year. It would be great if you can travel too but you must have the following skills and attributes:
- Bubbly and enthusiastic personality
- Outstanding Communication, Organisational & Time Management skills
- Internet research ability
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher & Word
- Happy to work alone un-supervised but also a good Team Player
- Can Do Attitude and a good sense of humour
- Eager to learn more and love to think outside the square
- Proficient in audio and visual software package would be an advantage
- Experience with property investing a distinct advantage
Please note: ideally we're looking for someone based in Adelaide.
More of the nitty gritty:
This is a contract position and you will need to have an ABN of course, and your own ‘tools of trade’ such as a computer (preferably a laptop), mobile phone and fax machine / scanner / printer. A VOIP phone on our Virtual PABX can be provided if necessary.
We use an online Contact and Project Management System where we record as much as possible, ensuring better communication and efficiency, so a good internet connection is important for this position. Duties will be various, so there’s never a dull moment. We work in a dynamic environment so the ability to change focus for a new deadline may often be necessary. Here’s a list of just some of the things you might expect to be involved in:
- Making appointments and liaising with members or associated businesses
- Loading and editisng information to our website
- Proof reading (carefully!)
- Researching people or businesses
- Providing reports and helping prepare budgets
- Preparing minutes from meetings
- Assisting with emails & other correspondence
- Assisting with PowerPoint presentations
- Prepare task lists for projects and follow up timelines
Although you will report to and be working mostly with Rachel Barnes, you will also assist other Executives including the General Manager where necessary, and help to support the rest of the team during sickness or holiday periods.
