Rachel bought her first investment property using less than $5000 of home equity as a deposit. Just 7 years after this modest start Rachel and her partner purchased an incredible 74 properties across Australia and New Zealand and still holds 70 of them.


Judith Taylor
Single Mum, Renovator and Investor

Judith was introduced to renovating and property investing only a few years ago and after attending a Reno Kings workshop, her life was transformed.

After two failed relationships, she was left without a job and living with her young son in a derelict house. In the past 3 years she has completed 7 renovations, and transformed the derelict house into a dream home as well as doing her own property management.  When it comes to property investing, Judith believes that "If I can do it, anyone can".

Susan is a property lawyer, based in Queensland, with over 17 years experience in landlord and tenant law, commercial property acquisitions, property developments and sub-divisions. Susan has been a regular presenter at Property Women workshops sharing her knowledge and experience to help other Investors.

Jenny Storey

After struggling for years on average incomes, Jenny and her husband started building their property portfolio in March 2005 and by July 2007 they had purchased an amazing 26 properties!

Using property as a vehicle, Carolyn is a self-made millionaire in her early thirties. Together with her husband she currently owns a portfolio of 15 properties.

As the owner of a Property Management business, Carolyn’s strong belief  is that Property Management is more about ‘people’ than ‘property’ which is no doubt why she's recently been named the Number One Property Manager across forty five Century 21 offices within Victoria.

Julia is a member of both the Australian Society of CPAs and the Institute of Chartered accountants.

Julia now spends a great portion of her time travelling Australia doing workshops, seminars, supporting accountants, and mentoring staff. Julia also writes for Australian Property Investor Magazine and has just finished a book for rental property investors.

Cathy is a qualified accountant who owns her own business.

Cathy's areas of expertise include;

Jane Eyles-Bennett is a degree qualified interior/exterior designer specialising in renovations for property investors. She has been designing around the world since 1993 and with a number of investment properties herself - 5 of which she has renovated - she is one person who knows just how to add value and style on a shoe-string budget! Jane's first renovation cost less than $3,000 and returned $30K profit (net) in less than 3 weeks.

Jane has combined her flare for design, passion for property and interest in investing to help fellow investors and property owners easily and quickly make money from their renovations.

 

 Josephine Muscolino
Lawyer

Josephine is a Lawyer based in Sydney with over 23 years of experience, both in private practice and as senior legal counsel for the Reserve Bank of Australia.  Combining business and motherhood, means Josephine understands the issues from a woman's perspective.  Josephine has extensive experience in:

  • commercial and residential sales and purchases, including off-the-plan;
  • subdivisions, legal title issues and other property needs;
  • commercial leasing;  and
  • loans secured against property.


Joanna Chivers
Developer

At the age of 36 and heavily pregnant, Joanna Chivers had reached a crossroad. Fed up with a long-term corporate career that involved working long hours and making lots of money for others, Jo made a decision to educate herself financially and get started in property investing. Whilst her husband was supportive, he didn’t share her passion for property. Her goal was to set up their future and create a great lifestyle for her family.  After her first deal made her $155,000 within a year, about twice her annual salary at the time, she was even more inspired to help others develop property. Jo manages developments from start to finish, with more than 30 projects under her belt in just a few years.





Julie Howard
Property Investor

Julie Howard is married with two children aged 6 and 12.  She purchased 6 investment properties in just 18 months. Of these, 5 properties needed renovation and once all the work was completed, a staggering $300,000 in equity was added to her portfolio. Not bad for 18 months work!  Julie is one of our 'Women in Focus'.

  Sonya Matthews
Renovating with Kids

Sonya, who has a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science, says that losing her job 6 years ago was the "best thing that ever happened to me! I have had a beautiful time with my babies and a clear run to focus on my property investing".  Sonya's properties have increased from 2 to 8 since ‘being forced to resign, heavily pregnant’, and her portfolio of around $750k-$800k at that time is now worth a few times more than that, less than 6 years later. Sonya is one of our 'Women in Focus'.
