I’m Jo, a professional property buying expert, cheer leader and advocate for women looking to embark on their property journey.
You see, I became highly experienced through self-education and learnt through investing personally. I attended my first Property Women event when I was pregnant with my second baby in 2009. That one-day workshop was a considerable expense for us at the time. Yet that event changed my life, my financial position (I’m talking multiple millions) and sparked a career trajectory I never saw coming.
In 2011 I became a property buyer’s agent running my own company, I purchased Property Women out right in 2015 and published my first book in 2018. I have now purchased hundreds of properties for clients and undertaken many strategies personally to project my families future financial stability. Along with property developments, renovations, builds, interstate purchases, joint venture structures, buying in our super and managing Airbnb’s and Co-livings I was even able to fit in another baby!
It hasn’t always been rainbows and unicorns but I have learnt a lot on the way and one stand out is that you do not have to have a formal education to be successful in this game but you do need to surround yourself with the right people, apply some grit and determination, set clear goals and start, just start.
